Presentation
For an oral presentation (OP), the presentation should be 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. The presentation must be prepared as a PowerPoint slideshow and submitted in .ppt or .pptx format on the day of the presentation.
For a poster presentation: the poster must be A0 size in portrait orientation. The following information should be included on your poster:
- Title of the presentation
- Author names and affiliations
To enhance readability, we recommend using more figures and tables and limiting the amount of written text where possible. The list of poster numbers will be provided at the start of the congress.

Traveling to/in Ghent
In case you plan to take a flight to Belgium, we recommend you to arrange a flight to Brussels International Airport Zaventem and then take the direct train (Belgian railways: https://www.belgiantrain.be/en) to Ghent. You can also arrange a flight to Brussels South Airport (Charleroi) and then take the shuttle bus (Flibco) to Ghent (https://visit.gent.be/en/see-do/flibco).
UGent actively promotes a sustainable travel policy - avoiding flights for relatively short distances (below 1000 km). We kindly advise persons who are coming to Ghent from within a reasonable distance and/or who do not need to cross an ocean or sea to travel by train.
To reach the UGent Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, you can walk from Ghent Sint-Pietersstation to the faculty (20 min), or take tram 4 to the Ghent University Hospital (UZ) and get off at the terminus. From the terminus, you can walk to the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. At the roundabout, you can enter through the green gate and walk around the building to reach the main entrance of the faculty.
